Friday Night Lights is a one-of-kind event HELD once a MONTH @ 757 ROC. It consists of a single WOD formatted in competition style. All workouts have varying levels of difficulty and modifiers so ALL ABILITY LEVELS can participate. The workout is combined with fun music and lights in a family friendly party atmosphere. There is a spectator patio in partnership with Twisted Knot brewing to watch the event and purchase adult beverages. All spectators are free of charge & DO not need to register.
our mission at 757 RoC is to change the way the community thinks about fitness. With that mission in mind, we will be choosing a charity or family in need every month. We will then donate 100% of the proceeds from that month's FNL ticket sales to them. We will also have a donation jar for specators to give to the cause as well.
our first benificiary of the fundraiser will be:
Menchville House started in April, 1998 as the vision of three women to establish a shelter for homeless women and their children. They believed it to be God’s will. The idea was quickly adopted by the community of Hampton Roads, Virginia. The concept of healing hurting women and their children was brought to reality in an 18-unit apartment building that the community pitched in to remodel into a lovely group home. The first homeless woman and her child moved into the shelter in April, 2001. Since then, numerous families have moved from hurt to hope to become healthy, independent and contributing members of their communities.
To help homeless families return to self-sufficiency by providing a temporary home and supportive services. Menchville House is a forty six-bed facility emergency housing facility for homeless families, located in the Denbigh area of Newport News on Warwick Blvd.
